The Fiber-Optic-M12-System is through its standardized mating face (DIN 61754-27) and it’s extraordinary optical and mechanical characteristic highly made for the usage in the industrial environment.

The integrated spring mounted plug sleeve protects the sensitive fiber end surfaces against damages. A misapplication is prevented through the connector coding.

The Fiber-Optic-M12-System is available with 2.5mm ferrules for polymere optical fibres as well as with PCF- and multimode glass fibres.

For hybrid applications optional Cu-contacts can be inserted.

Through the design in protection class IP67 the Fiber-Optic-M12-System is predestined for the usage in harsh environment.

The Fiber-Optic-M12-System is summed up through the transceiver family which can be perfectly tuned to the application. This transceivers ensures the safe usage in different applications up to 125Mbit-Industrial-Fast-Ethernet. In the process a compatibility to the SCRJ-Transceiver- Layout is existing. These devices are available in the wave lengths 650nm, 850nm and 1310nm.

The Fiber-Optic-M12-System will be expanded through the M12-Media converter and the M12-switch that are currently developed. The compact housing is coming with the protection class IP67 and enables a continuous integration in existing industrial network topologies.
